What was my last run?

Again bloody busy with a lot of stuff going on and I am stretching the memory banks to remember what runs and when since my last post. Thanks also for the comments and well wishes. It has been a very strange and sad time for us. I cant express how much your thoughts mean.

Anyrate the unrecorded runs:

Friday 21/7: Lane Cove loop,up the highway into Lane Cove down Burns Bay Road up the bastard hill before Iggys and back to work via the last section of the 10 bridges star and onto River Road and couple of cracker hills before getting back to work. Just ovwer 10kms 47mins.

Saturday 22/7: Bay lap 28.20 plus 2km warm down

Sunday 23/7: 10 bridges reversed with 26. About 33KMS in 2.45. The plan was to be on the feet for this amount of time and the ks would look after themselves. Really enjoyable run with some great patches of solid effort and some cracking hills. Confidence builder as the time on the feet was the key. Could have kept going for another few kms today no probs.

Monday 24/7: Funeral no run

Tuesday 25/7: No run

Wednesday 26/7: 26's inner west bay loop. So named because this is the way 26 always heads down to the bay from the inner wests mean streets! Headed out after the kids went to bed after a bloody busy day at work. Follow the train line from Stanmore to Petersham, across Petersham Oval, over to Parramatta Rd and down to the bay via the street parralel with the Hwathorne Canal. Jump on to the path beside Hawthorn Canal from Marion St around the bay and back home via Catherine St. Just over 15kms in 1.06. Felt great first up but struggled on the back end of this run.

Thursday 27/7: Another busy day at work - ran over to Yaya's to put the bins out after putting the kids to bed. Stanmore to Earlwood - about 11.5kms in 49 minutes.

Friday 28/7: no run - too busy

So not enough kms, next week too busy at work doesnt cut the mustard anymore. The positive is that the long runs have been good quality and consistent.

If I can drag my butt out of bed,(something I have been incapable of this winter...) I will head down to the bay for the 5km challenge tmrw morning. Hope springs eternal!
